Comic Book

You may have noticed we've been a little quiet with comic updates lately. And that's only because..

Our comic book is FINALLY DONE!

It's in production now and we're expecting to release the first edition in November alongside a limited edition collector's pack with only 100 units.

Which may or may not feature a new mousepad.. or a limited edition tub.. among other things. (shhh)

This has been a completely new experience for us. If you'd told us when we first launched JUICD that we'd have our own comic book. One we created from scratch and self-published we wouldn't have believed you.

I'm so proud of the team for making this come to life. Can't wait to have you all in the JUICD world with us.

We're going to try to get the comic stocked in as many comic book and pop-culture stores around Australia as possible. If you know a local store that might stock it, send them our way in the discord.

JUICD Minecraft Server

We've been quietly building a Minecraft server for the Guild over the past two weeks.

It's survival Minecraft with one twist: an in-game economy built entirely around JUICD. You farm ingredients, craft JUICD, and sell it to the shop at spawn. That's the only way to earn money in the world and you can spend it on building materials and everything else or haud it.

• Survival, mostly vanilla (with the economy and a few quality-of-life plugins added)
• Making JUICD is your income. The shop sells you everything and buys nothing except JUICD
• Crossplay: One address, one world, whatever device you're on
• Hosted in Sydney, works on Java and Bedrock so PC, console and mobile are all in
• You join by linking your Discord account. Your Guild rank carries over and shows in game
• Not pay-to-win

For me, minecraft is super nostalgic and something I got lost in for hours when I was younger with friends. Hoping it becomes another place for you all to come together and build something cool.

On launch we'll be running a Guild quest with goals like reaching end game first, crafting every JUICD flavour, and best build. More details when we go live.

Meet our new range, the next evolution of JUICD, with a fresh look and an ingredients update across the board.

Gaming is where JUICD started, and that's never changing. It's in our DNA and always will be. But over the years we've noticed something: our community isn't just gamers grinding ranked at 2am. You're athletes, creatives, parents, night shift workers, gym rats, students cramming for exams. All of you reach for JUICD to fuel whatever you're locked into that day.

So this new look is us leaning into that. It's built to represent every passion our community brings to the table, not just one. Same JUICD energy, just a range that finally looks like all of you, not just the gamer in you.

JUICD Tubs

Seismic Cola

One of the OG flavours from our first release, it felt fitting bringing this one back. It's sold out every time we've restocked it, and this version is the best yet.

Pineapple Berry

A juicy, sweet pineapple hit rounded out with a burst of mixed berries. Think tropical and tart in perfect balance, ridiculously moreish. If you loved Paralope Crush and Slash Berry, this one's a match made in heaven.

Cherry Freeze

We've had protests in the Discord about bringing back a sour cherry flavour. Well, this one's for you. I'll be honest, I'm not usually a cherry guy (some PTSD from old school pre workouts that only ever came in "classic cherry"). But I'm a convert on this one, and it's going into my weekly rotation.

Ingredient Changes

We've built on top of the OG formula to stay competitive in today's market. The headline changes:

• Alpha GPC bumped up: 250mg to 300mg per serving.
• New addition: Alpinia Galanga Rhizome (300mg).
• Tyrosine, upgraded: swapped straight L-Tyrosine for N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine, a more bioavailable form.
• Bigger serve, bigger tub: scoop size is up from 7g to 9g, and instead of pulling the usual “shrinkflation” move everyone’s sick of (looking at you, every snack brand ever), we did the opposite. The tub's grown with it, 280g up to 360g at 40 servings.

Say hello to Cogniforce, our new focus and clarity blend built from three new additions:

JUICD Variety Pack

We've gone with a sealed pack instead of picking your own single serves, so we don't run out of the popular flavours and newcomers to JUICD can sample the full range. It's a 12 serve variety pack with 2 serves of 3 flavours.

Existing Tubs

Existing tubs will be vaulted once sold out. You can expect to see existing flavours make a return, but these will be the last in the old designs. If you haven't got your hands on them yet, what's available now is your last chance to grab a piece of JUICD history.

NEW PRODUCTS DROPPING NEXT MONTH!

Firstly, a huge thank you to everyone who sampled and gave us feedback. We put a lot of those responses to work and it helped us lock down the release properly. It means a lot that you took the time.

Here's what's coming.. We'll be releasing 3 tubs, 3 RTDs and a brand new variety pack next month. We'll reveal all the flavours at the start of next month, but we didn't want to leave you completely empty handed..

Every month we'll be putting out a TV Guide covering all our upcoming community events and streams so you can see exactly what's on and plan to be there.

Think of it like a programming schedule but for JUICD. We want you guys to have regular things to look forward to every month, and this is how we plan to make that happen.

Comic Updates

As some of you know, our goal is to release our first edition comic book this year and finally bring the JUICD lore to life. I just wanted to share a little on what that process looks like with a super small team.

Storyline

Adam is the mastermind behind the JUICD storyline, with help from Mike, and has been working on this since the brand's inception 6 years ago. Originally we just wanted a cool character to go on our tubs, but very quickly it became a lot more than that. From there we've gone back and forth on what the world of JUICD looks like and what his story is.

There have been so many ideas on characters, lore, and world-building. I feel like the core vision has stayed the same as what you've seen from the world of JUICD so far, but over time certain pieces really began to fall into place and feel right.

Creating a comic has really made us take a step back and figure out the exact path we want to take and break the story up into small segments and issues. While this requires a lot of decisions, being a comic also gives us the ability to not go too deep into things we're not 100% sure of yet, while still keeping continuity.

Once we settled on the timeline of events, we built a document called The JUICD Universe. Inside we've created a wiki-style page for everything that exists in the JUICD world; all the characters, realms, items, cities, all of it.

It's an ever-evolving document, but it lets us really dive into the essence of the world and bring places and people to life with proper backstories.

Here's a look at a character I spent some time working on. I'm a huge Avatar: The Last Airbender fan and really wanted to have our own version of the Cabbage Merchant as a nod to the series and how much it meant to me growing up.

Once we were happy with the direction for the first comic, we created a basic brief for each page outlining the purpose and story that happens on it. This let us go through and make sure the story was actually enjoyable to read and had all the elements we wanted.

Sketching

Once the storyline was locked in, Adam would do initial sketches on an iPad based on the purpose of each page and the story it needed to tell.

This part is really really hard. There's a real balance between making something look cool, telling the story clearly, and not making it too complicated to follow.

A lot of the time, not all of the story elements is included in the brief is able to be conveyed on page, so everything you see has been added purposefully. 

And because we're not full-time comic book creators, you'll usually find Adam working on this on weekends or at night outside of our normal work hours. Which makes it feel even more special honestly.

From there, sketches go through an approval process with myself and other team members to make sure the direction is right before moving to the next stage.

Outline & Colouring

Cesar is our longtime artist who worked on bringing the JUICD world to life 6 years ago, so it felt only right to have him be part of releasing our first comic book.

He receives the initial sketch of each page along with a bunch of notes, and then works his magic on the outline and colouring.

Once we're happy, we finalise and repeat the whole process for the next page.

Manufacturing

We really want the final product to feel good in hand, and be something actually worth collecting.

We looked at a few different comic books we love as inspiration, and I spent a good amount of time reaching out to different manufacturers to get quotes, timelines, and sample packs.

Our first sample pack arrived earlier this month. Inside were test prints of our comic pages along with samples of different paper stocks and finishes.

The whole point of a sample pack is to test different paper weights and textures to make sure we land on exactly the right look and feel. We want the comic to feel like a traditional comic; not overly glossy, no thick book covers, nothing cheap.

We went through everything together and decided what we liked to pass back to the manufacturer as feedback.

What’s Next

We've finalised 9 pages out of the 16-20 we want for the first edition. So now it's just about getting those remaining pages done so we can get a pre-production sample approved before the full print run.

We're really hoping to have this completed and ready to purchase by the end of the year. It will be a limited print run. I'm also working on a collector's pack for a special edition which will include a few extra collector's items we think you're going to love.

We'll be self-publishing on our website, and we're also hoping to get some copies into local stores which is actually something we might get everyone's help with.

Hope this gives you a bit of insight into the process. For what we've got, I think we're making some real headway, and we can't wait to share this world with you all!

The last polls were super helpful and just confirmed what we already had in mind.

Our new guild program is officially rolling out this week on a completely new platform.

Here's what it looks like:

• 15% discount for your friends, family and community (increased from 10%)

Here's how the transition will work over the next week:

1. We'll contact all previous guild members to apply for the new program
2. Over next weekend we'll disable all existing codes
3. On Sunday we'll approve all new applications and enable the new codes
4. On approval, your account will be cross-checked against our list of owed guild commissions and paid out through the new platform directly. If you're wanting a new code, make sure to add your old code in the ‘previous code field’ on the application so we can match it up.

One important note on codes. Priority will be given to existing code owners over the next week. After that it's first in best dressed, so apply as soon as you can if you want to lock in your code.

Here's a few things about the new platform we're genuinely excited about:

Guild Ranks

Everyone who joins the Discord will automatically be a Guild Recruit. Once you're in the Guild program, you become a Guild Member and it goes up from there.

We'll be expanding the ranks and doing monthly promotions and awards.

And just to be clear, it's not purely based on sales. Ranks will be based on a mix of community interaction across all platforms, guild quests, and sales. Higher ranks aren't just a cool badge in Discord either. They'll come with access to exclusive physical rewards.

Guild to Affiliate Pathway

For those who are serious about making an actual income through JUICD, we’re inviting top performers within our guild to join our affiliate program for paid commission and more exclusive opportunities. It's a completely separate program for people who are genuinely committed to building their community and personal brand.

Right now invitations happen at our discretion, but we may open up the requirements more clearly down the track.

If you're just getting started, hopefully this is some motivation. We want to work with people who are putting in the work. And we're watching.

Product Updates

Our production schedule is locked in!

Our first new drop is expected to be available in early August, with a lot more coming through the back half of the year. We want to close 2026 strong.

We've got a new improved formula with an updated look. And honestly, the formula reminds us of the OG JUICD with Lion's Mane (IYKYK).

We would have loved to get these to you sooner, but also wanted to make sure we were 100% happy with everything after multiple sample runs.

I know there's some big shoes to fill entertainment-wise.. and our steams will be very different. But there's a big portion of JUICD supporters on the platform who aren't in the Discord, and we want to make sure they’re a part of the journey as well.

Lastly, this is probably the one Adam and I are most proud to be working on, and really close to our hearts.

As most of you know, we’ve been slowly working away at the JUICD universe from the very inception of the brand. Building a world full of characters and lore.

Well now we want to share and bring you into the universe with us..

We're hoping to release the first edition JUICD Comic before the end of the year.

Keep an eye on the new #juicd-comic channel in Discord where Adam will be dropping updates and sneak peaks as we go. We might even do some discord streams taking you through the creative process.
